Biography
My initial training was in biology. The modeling activity took a growing part of my research interest, allowing me to study the living with a different light. The robotic context is interesting for me because it allows to test different theoritical hypothesis that I study, being confronted with reality.
Master 1 Biology at University Paris XI (ORSAY), level bachelor computer science at University Paris XI (ORSAY).
Master 2 Cognitives Sciences de Paris (EHESS, Paris 6, Ecole Polytechnique et Ecole Normale Supérieure.)
PhD in the College de France, collaboration with PSA (Peugeot/Citroën) advisor Prof. Alain Berthoz
Postdoc with Dr Anatole Lécuyer at INRIA.
Associate researcher in CNRS with the Prof Vincent Hayward (2009-2010)
Associate Professor at UPMC (Polytech' UPMC) since september 2010
Research Activities
- Experiments on Humans( eyes movements and 3D, Self-motion perception )
- Bio-inspired modeling of self-motion perception
- Applied mathematics, signal processing: multiresolution (wavelets)
- Technology 3 patents (2 patents with a car company PSA (Peugeot/Citroen) and the CNRS and 1 patent with the CNRS and INRIA
My researches are mainly focused on self-motion perception in 3D in real or virtual environments. Particularly, the multimodal aspect inherent to self-motion are in the center of my interest.
