Research Activities

My Phd studies focus on how to efficiently include plasticity in the evolution of artificial neural Networks. I am currently researching the relationships between generative encodings and online adaptation. I am using the sferes2 framework developped by Jean-Baptiste Mouret and working under the supervision of Stéphane Doncieux.

Research Interests

I am interested in improving our abilities to evolve neural networks. This includes online adaptation mechanisms, but also modularity as well as other properties such as regularity and scale free topologies. I believe that artificial evolution has potential to both create complex robotic controllers and improve computational models used in neurosciences.
