IROS 2012 Workshop: Optimality principles and adaptation in humanoid robotics control

Serena Ivaldi and Olivier Sigaud will be co-organisers, with Francesco Nori and Bastien Berret, of a full day workshop during IROS 2012 Conference in Vilamoura, Portugal, on October 7th. The workshop will bring together optimal control and machine learning experts interested in the use of these methods in robotics, as well as computational neuroscientists interested in modeling control processes in humans, so as to generate a fruitful discussion between both communities. Second Symposium on Biology of Decision Making, Paris, France, 10-11 may 2012

The second symposium on the biology of decision making took place at Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle, in Paris, France. It was co-organised by ISIR-UPMC. Kenji Doya gave a plenary lecture as an invited professor at Université Pierre et Marie Curie. Other invited speakers presented different approaches (economical, behavioral, neural and computational approaches) to decision making.

The symposium was a success! Thanks to all the participants for making it a great event!
